Shot analysis for players
Know exactly what to fix.
Film your jumper. We score it out of 100 across Balance, Alignment, Timing, and Flow, then tell you which one is costing you buckets.
Nextshot score
92/100
Four numbers, every rep.
We use pose estimation to track your body through the shot, so Balance, Alignment, Timing, and Flow are graded the same way on every rep. Your scores mean the same thing today as they did last week.
- Balance95
Your base — stance, weight shift, and landing where you rose.
- Alignment93
Elbow, wrist, and shoulder stacked to the rim.
- Timing90
Dip to release in one motion, no hitch.
- Flow93
Legs to fingertips in one smooth chain.
Film. Analyze. Improve.
01
Film
Prop your phone up and shoot. Record right in the app, or upload a clip you already have from the gym.
02
Analyze
We score the rep out of 100, grade all four metrics, and flag the one that's costing you the most.
03
Improve
Take the cue into your next rep and film again. The numbers tell you when the fix has stuck.

The whole loop, in your pocket.
Film a rep, read the four numbers, train the weak one, and watch where it puts you on the board. It's the same app on iOS and Android, free to start on both.

Your weakest number gets the work.
Every analysis ends with one instruction. We read your four metrics, find the one holding your score back, and put it under "Focus next" with a drill attached. Base and balance letting you down? That's what you're training today, not whatever you felt like shooting.
No guessing at what to work on. Tap it and go.
Leaderboard
Every rep counts for something.
Our worldwide leaderboard ranks players by the badges they've collected, so you climb whether you're chasing a perfect form score or just showing up every day. Check where you stand daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or all-time, and see who you need to pass next.
Right now the top spot belongs to our own team. Come take it.

One scale for the whole roster.
Trainers, AAU squads, and high school teams use one honest score so everyone's talking about the same fix. Tell us about your group and we'll get you set up.
Why Nextshot exists

Venkat Bayireddi is the founder of Nextshot AI. He built it out of his own game — tired of the gap between hearing 'your shot looks off' and actually knowing what to fix, he made the tool that measures it. He played at The Shipley School and is now a student at Drexel University, where he stays active in the basketball community. Nextshot is built to give every player an honest read on their form, and a clear path to a better one.

Yash Rajpathak is a first-year business student at Ohio State and a Central Bucks South graduate who's been around basketball his whole life. Before joining Nextshot, he worked with a Bucks County tutoring and mentorship organization, where he spent his time helping young students find their footing. He brings that same drive to Nextshot, where he leads our work with teams and programs looking to put real development tools in their players' hands.
